Event details

Dear Morning@Lohikan`s!

We are pleased to welcome you to Rockstars Morning@Lohika! It will take place on 24th of December.

We will have two great speakers and themes.

Evgeny Borisov

Since 2001 Evgeny was working as Java Developer, Team Leader, Java Architect and Java Trainer. One of the best speakers of JEEConf, Javaday, JPoint and Joker. Now works as Big Data Technical Leader in NAYA Technologies.

Theme: Christmas Spring Puzzlers

Agenda

Everyone knows, that Spring is one of the most powerful and useful frameworks for Java. So how deep are you familiar with it? Evgeny keeps collecting different problems, bugs and other mystic that are so common in spring framework and transform them to puzzlers. In this season all the presented cases were taken from real projects. SAP, eBay, HP and other companies have already struggled with them. Evgeny is going to share with you this experience of problems and solutions in the already familiar to you puzzlers format.

Yegor Bugayenko

Yegor is a CTO at Teamed.io, a software development company with an extremely distributed working model; an author of "Elegant Objects"; a regular blogger at www.yegor256.com; a proud holder of PMP and OCMEA certifications; a hands-on Java developer and a lead architect of rultor.com and takes.org; lives in Palo Alto and Kyiv.

Theme: Object-Oriented Java by Example

Agenda

Most popular Java libraries and design best practices are usually quite far away from being object-oriented. They work, but are not really elegant. Yegor will demonstrate a number of my own open-source libraries that helped him solve that problem and make his Java code more object-oriented and clean.
